About the Retreat
During the retreat, participants will have the opportunity to discover ways of connecting with this essential archetype. The programme will include guided visualisations, dynamic meditation sessions, ceremonial practices, creative expression, and the use of plant medicine, all designed to facilitate this connection.
Your Host Yulia
Yulia is a practising artist, as well as a humanistic and integrative therapist. She has dedicated forty years to exploring the healing and transformative properties of plant medicines. Her spiritual path is deeply rooted in Norse mythology, serving The Norn spinners of fate and among the oldest European archetypes, often considered the original fairy godmothers.
The concept of 'genius' was originally not used as a mere adjective; rather, it referred to a sprite believed to inhabit the walls of every artist’s studio. This presence was considered a crucial companion in the creative process, acting as a co-worker rather than simply a source of inspiration.
The genius played an important role in keeping the artist’s ego in balance, reminding them that when remarkable work is produced, it is in large part due to the guidance and influence of the genius. The relationship with the genius prospers when it is actively nurtured and acknowledged.
